Booking rooms in the
promotion house |
|
In the
Villa Sandahl part of the
Sights Gallery you can see pictures of the promotion house. In this
gallery you also see other sights of interest in the surroundings to
Villa Sandahl. |
|
Booking give access to one of the six bedrooms and the breakfast
kitchen upstairs, see the architecture below. |
|
Conditions :
- Guest must be known by
Sandahls.
- No meals is included, and all cleaning and washing is done by the
guest.
- At arrival, guests always wash
and clean remaining dirty items from previous guests, and at
leaving, guests are free to leave dirty items to next guests.

Booking procedure for separate rooms
- The booking guests appoint
their
contact person, to be liable for the room, and to follow the
below check list.
- One person from Thords or
Christers families must personally agree to the booking.
- Conditions and prices are
settled with that Sandahl contact person.

The main kitchen has the equipment:

- Refrigerator

- Pottery and cutlery for 12
persons
- All kind of cooking utensils
- A binder with operating
instructions.
The scullery has the equipment:
- Refrigerator and freezer
- Sink unit
- Serving utensils
The breakfast kitchen has the equipment:
- Coffee machine
- Microwave oven
- Dish washer
- Refrigerator
- Sink unit
The tasting room has the equipment:
- Table and seats for 12 persons
- 76 glasses for wine tasting
- Big LCD TV with laptop (for
presentations).

When a reservation has
been confirmed, the below calendar is updated with colour bars
with the booking code in the middle, see the principle in the figure to the right.
The colours are the same as used for the bedrooms in above architecture.
Black code is used for the entire house with all bedrooms. If black is
used together with other colours, this means the entire house minus the
specified bedrooms. |

When renting
separate rooms : |
|
Arriving to the
house |
Keys :
- Room keys are separate for each
bedroom.
- All room keys fits to the
office and to the garage.
- No room keys fits to the wine
cellar.
- Top floor room keys fits the
two entrée doors at the top floor, but not the entrée doors on the
base floor.
- Base room keys fits all entrée
doors.
- All doors (also inner doors)
must be locked when the house is empty.
|
Alarm :
- Alarm is always activated when
the house is empty in weekends, evenings and nights.
- All entrée doors have a key
unit for arming / disarming.
- When unlocking and opening an
entrée door during the house is alarmed, you hear a signal. Just go swiftly in and enter
your code on the key unit, and the alarm will be disarmed.
|
Other :
- Get bedclothes and towels from
the office room.
- Remember the thermostat
setting and adjust the temperature to your preference (thermostat at
right side of wine cellar doors).
- Remember the air condition
settings and adjust temperature to your own preference.
|
|
Leaving the
house |
Alarming and locking :
- Shut all entrée doors and
stand still.
- Enter your code and press
"ARM".
- You hear a signal and have
some time to leave.
- Pass the entrée door, close it
and lock it from outside.
- When locking any entrée door there
is a special procedure :
- You must first lift and
press the handle upwards.
- then the key can lock the
door.
|
Kitchen :
- Empty refrigerators from
everything that might get out of date.
- Wash all kitchen equipment and
empty the dish washer.
- Clean the coffee machine in
the base floor. (Empty the water supply, discard coffee grounds and
empty waste water collector. Switch of the machine by switch inside
the machine at top left
corner).
- Clean the stove, worktop and
sinks.
- Vacuum clean and scrub the
floors.
- Roll down the window shade
(pull the strings strict vertically, newer horizontally).
- Remove all garbage and scraps.
|
Bed rooms :
- Bring sheets and pillow cases
to the office room.
- Make the bed with bedspread,
blanket and pillow (without sheets and pillow case).
- Vacuum clean and scrub the
floors.
- Roll down the window shades
(pull the strings strict vertically, newer horizontally).
- If air condition was switched
on at arriving, then put back the settings to the values when you
arrived.

Bathrooms :
- All towels and carpets to the
office.
- Clean the water closet,
mirror, shower doors, taps, sinks and desks.
- Vacuum clean and scrub the
floors.
|
The office :
- Wash and tumble-dry everything
that is wet.
- Wash dirty bedclothes,
tumble-dry, fold and put back, whereto found on arrival.
- Empty water collector and
fluff filter in washing machine.
- Leave doors open on washing
machine and tumble-drier.
- Switch off the iron.
|
The staircase :
- Vacuum clean and scrub the
steps.
|
Tasting room :
- Clean the table, empty and
wash the fruit bowls.
- Clean the chairs.
- Vacuum clean and scrub the
floors.
- Set back the temperature
thermostat to the the setting when you arrived.
|
Garage :
- If dirty, sweep the floor.
|
Other :
- Put back outdoor furniture in the
garage.
- Shut all windows, lock all
doors (also inner doors).
