The red route above is quite easy to make over one day, provided you
hire a cabin on a Trelleborg-Rostock night ferry. It is 1300 km by car
and can be done in 12 hours with half an hour rest for each 3 hours
driving. The speed must be around 140 km/h per hour on all motor ways.
The blue route is a challenge to be made by car over one day. This route
is 1650 km with ferry between Rödby and Puttgarden, and in all need 18
hours, with a need of 140 km/h on motor ways and half an hour rest each
3 hours driving. |

By Air |

The budget flight company
Wizz Air are
connecting Malmö/Sturup, Gothenburg City and Stockholm/Skavsta with
Budapest about every second day. At Budapest Ferihegy airport it is a
good idea to rent a car, Recent
Car is a price worthy alternative. Passing Budapest when going to
Badacsony is somewhat tricky, see map below. The key is to follow the M0
ring motorway until joining the M7 Balaton motorway. |

Lake Balaton, obtainable within three hours from Vienna, Zagreb or
Budapest. |

the northern shore of the lake. |

Badacsony Lake |
At the ancient Badacsony volcano,
with its national park,
Villa Sandahl overlooks the lake from the southern slope. |

In the western part of Badacsony and on walking
distance from the centre,
Villa Sandahl reside on the uphill side on the "inner" circular road "Romai út".
"Szuzsanna Vineyard" is
located south of the road "Hegyalja út" and north of the chapel "Szt.
Anna kápolna". |

| Zsuzsanna Vineyard is planted with 25 years
old vines of Rhine Riesling and Pinot Gris, at one of the steepest slope of the
Badacsony Hill. The vineyard is 3.4 hectares, has a gradient of about 1:5, and
is straight south-facing. We regard this vineyard to have the same potential as
many famous vineyards in Alsace. |
