General conditions

Season

It is easer for us to support your event plans, when we are not overly busy in spring (April, May, and beginning of June) or autumn (in September and October).

We can arrange and support you with events also in high season, when Rezidencia is fully occupied (in July and Augusts), but we will have a more limited personell at this time.

Group sizes

Events can be full day or 2 x half day, with or without dinner.

The entire Rezidencia with 4 rooms can be booked if you want to be alone with the event, and not disturbed by outsiders. The room prices are the normal fee.

It is also possible for us to support events for smaller groups, not booking the whole Rezidencia.

The hotel has 4 room with 2 x 2 beds and 2 x 3 beds.

Bus sizes

For events including a bus, the cheapest is for maximum 7 persons. If up to 10 persons, a larger and more expensive bus is needed.

Guides

For all events, a local guide can be booked, somebody from our own staff, or somebody from a Villa Sandahl certified subcontractor.

After checking our room availability, and to plan events, please contact the staff at Rezidencia,
+36 70 368 8013. They will confirm availability for rooms, prices, etc, and make your reservation.

Events can also be booked when you are already on Rezidencia, but with short notice we will of course have more limited capacity.

Entrance fee

To avoid members of visitor groups to bring cash or credit cards, and to avoid long and tedious line up in ques at the event entries, for a small fee our personal can book and prepay, in order to pass quick and conveniently.

To hire equipment, for example bikes, it may be mandatory to prepay a portion in advance. For a small fee our personnel can book and prepay.

Sandahls wine events

Festivals, etc.

Villa Sandahl will regularly arrange festivals, public tastings and own anniversary events. These are not regularly occurring, and not explained here, ask our personnel.

Sandahl wines are among the best (Rhine) Riesling in Hungary. You can always taste different vintages and categories of our Rieslings while enjoying our hotel and breathtaking view.

Tastings

You can decide for a wine tasting on any time of the day. You decide the size and content of the tasting, and the duration of this event.

 

Visiting our vinery

Please ask some day ahead, for us to try to engage with our wine maker. Proposed for half day.

Excursions

 

Badacsony Hill by foot

Best to be full day. It is a steep pathway, good footwear and some fitness would benefit.

You can climb the hill as individual or in group any time without permission. A guide is recomended, to ensure you find all landmarks and sceneries.

 

Landscape by car

Roundtrip by bus or rental car in the lake Balaton area. You can drive around the lake, a full day event.

 

Tihany area at Balaton Lake

This is a beautiful tourist village half an hour from Badacsony

 

 

 

 

 

Car ferry across Balaton Lake

Crossing the Balaton Lake near Tihany. It takes half an hour, but may have long lines at tourist seasons. Rather expensive, but a nice mini vacation by boat.

 

Balaton main city Keszthely

The largest city around Balaton Lake. Has a lot of shops and other services.

 

 

 

Basalt mine and Geological Showplace in Hegyestű

During the coming summer, the site is open from 9:00 to 19:00, and in the pre- and post-season, it is maybe open only until 16:00/17:00.

The adult entrance fee is 1.200 Ft.

Electric or standard bikes around the Balaton Lake

Can be full or half day. Also, a pick-nick can be arranged along the tour.

Includes renting maximum 10 bicycles, and one bicycle for the guide.

The bicycles are delivered to Rezidencia in the morning and returned in the evening.

A guide is definitely recommended for assistance ofadjusting the bicycle to each individual.  Ask our personal about models and fees.

You can choose from high-performance electric mountain bike with full suspension, ideal for tough trails, to a a more versatile electric mountain bike, good for off-road and rough terrain.

They have comfortable e-bikes too, perfect for long-distance rides and mixed terrain. Another one: hybrid between road and off-road biking.

You can choose from a classic touring bike, a comfortable city bike, a standard mountain bike for off-road and trail riding and a high-end gravel bike, designed for both speed and mixed terrain.

 

Segway ride in Hévíz

You can choose from various Segway tour options: there are two beginner and two intermediate tours available.

The lake Balaton is very popular for swimming. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the Badacsony hills while sunbathing or take a refreshing dip in the largest but shallow lake in Central Europe.

Sailing Balaton Lake
