Sandahl Rezidencia
Appearance
Since 2006 Villa Sandahl has run a small hotel called Sandahl Rezidencia. It is located in the top floor in Villa Sandahl's promotion house, in the middle of the Genesis vineyard. There are 4 rooms with totally 10 beds. The green and yellow rooms have two separate beds, the gray room has one separate bed and a double bed, and the pink room has 3 separate beds with a balcony.
The standard for all rooms is high, with air condition, flat screen television with satellite channels, free WiFi, separate toilet with shower and hair drier. To all rooms, there is a common kitchen with water boiler, dishwasher and utensils for simpler cooking.

From the terrace the view is astonishing over the lake Balaton, including the opposite shore of the lake. The surroundings are quiet in a world-class vineyard.

How to get there
It is quite easy to navigate to Sandahl Rezidencia. From the national road 71, turn off opposite to the Badacsony Camping, and follow that road to its end and take left. After 250 meters, according to the Rezidencia sign, take right into a dirt road and follow that road straight on to its end. Continue at the stone road and park to the right. It is possible, if a bit tricky, to continue to the tractor garage plateau, for unloading and loading the car, but it is not allowed to park there. Note that it is a bit rough at the end, but there are no problems for an ordinary car or small bus.
Sandahl wines
Despite all tourism, it is the world-class wines that are unique for Badacsony. Villa Sandahl is one of the hand-full best wineries in Hungary, and there are great opportunities to familiarize with our wines, very convenient if you stay at Rezidencia, but equally possible if you visit only for this purpose.
We offer a tasting for 3 000 forint, which money can be used when buying wines. If you are specially interested in our wines, we can offer a walk in the vineyards and a visit to our winery. It is possible to just ask for a wine tasting between 15:00 and 18:00 when you happen to be there, but to let us prepare better, book in good time, specially in the high season. Nearby restaurants
The neighbor hotel, the óbester Pansió, only 100 meters away, has a very popular grill terrace Otherwise the Badacsony village offer a lot of restaurants. At distance 9 km, the restaurant in the Kabala hotel is the best in the region. Ask our personnel for details.
Other nearby activities
Badacsony is famous for swimming in the lake Balaton, and there are many beaches nearby along the lake.
Hiking also offers genuine contact with vineyards and beautiful views from the Badacsony hill. It is easy walking everywhere, but boots are recommended since most tracks are unpaved.
At longer distances, at 8 km there is an iconic castle ruin in Szigliget, 22 km there is an abandoned opencast basalt mine called Hegyestű, at 32 km there is the famous thermal lake in Heviz, at 34 km there is a well preserved castle in Sümeg, and at 69 km there is a buffalo reservation at Kápolnapuszta.
